FROM THE EDITOR'S PEN

It is quite some time since I had communicated to you through your beloved YOUNG POET journal.

Lot of developments has taken place in the society and the beautiful world in which we live.

One of the most significant is the election of US President. The whole world has a great expectation and let us pray the Almighty for resounding success of Mr. Obama!

We are going to have Lokh Sabha Elections shortly and we earnestly hope the matured Indian voters will make India that is Bharath proud and the new Government will take the country towards greater glory, peace, prosperity and development in all sectors.

Yet another academic year is coming to an end and I wish you all success in your academic endeavors!

After deep deliberations and discussions with the well wishers of the YOUNG POET, we have decided to continue only with the on line edition and with immediate effect. Our brilliant web administrator Mr. A K Rajagopalan will go all out to make this journal one of the best among the available, for which I need the continued cooperation and support of all the contributors, readers , poets- young and veterans! I am sure the same will be forthcoming in abundance. Kindly flood my computer with your beautiful creations.

It has also been decided to consider publication of poems of the veterans, a request for which has been pending with us for long! There will be a separate and distinct Section for the seniors.

Kindly make this on line journal popular by spreading its noble message to all your friends.

Together we go, together we grow, together we prosper, together we share our knowledge, joys and sorrows!
