My table was isolated with out any magazine on it the last whole month and with the arrival of the "Young Poet" journal, my table again was alive. There were many hands busy handling the journal leaning to my table and by this the crew was back and I had loads of pleasure by which I glittered the whole day.
Every literary work needs imagination and every imagination needs appreciation and this is always done by you which enrich me to come out with many new poems. Sir, I'm not fed up by repeating the same old words of gratitude in every letter for you, because this admiration is the fact and fact doesn't have any limited words.
Thanks for publishing my poem in the journal and I hope my next poem will also be published.
Yes this is the conclusion but not the end of the letter, for there is much more to be written in the coming days.
Just there is the need of your blessings, Sir.

ELDERS RESPOND
Well and wish you the same.
First of all I thank you from the depth of my heart for sending me the Young Poet with beautiful poems. About 30 poems. About 30 poems were published with mixed feelings from different poets. And 15 poets were from our school. Thank you so much for taking this much effort in publishing the poems. The selection and the way of arrangement of the poems were excellent. The review "an elder looks at the Young Poet" by Mr. Premananda Panda. Editor of 'Replica' is excellent. I liked the poems by Qhudsia Wajid, Anish Mohamed Shuaib, Priya Subramaniam, Srinidhi Venkatesh. I congratulate all the Young Poets for composing poems. Sir, two of our students have already published five poems in the Young Poet. Now I would like to know whether they could get a laminated photo identity card and a certificate of membership. What is the next step to be taken? Kindly inform me.
Waiting to see the next issue with still more beautiful poems.

Vanakkam. I just recd, Young Poet 2007 from Dr. Srinivas, Young Poet. Last page contains your wonderful poem-Death which is a great leveller of rich and poor. This is also the truth of life. You are 9 year younger them me. After 60 you are keeping young as editor, poet and with other activities.
Whereas at 70 I feel I am rudderless and a waste. But the call is yet to come from Him. Here I get bored of my life?
I congratulate you for your novel idea.

Happy New Year,
At the outset, I seek your pardon for the delayed response of mine. Thanks for YOUNG POET (November 06 issue) - a bouquet of multi hued flowers grown in the garden of young poets. My hearty congratulations for stepping into the 7th year of your successful publication of the YOUNG POET.
The outpourings of youngsters are spontaneous - emanating right from their hearts. It always beats me how they pick up topics for poems that are often dealt with by elders. Unity by Abhishek, Mom by R. Ajitha, India by R. Aishwarya, My wishes to God by Anish. The end not too far by Arjun Prakash, I like my nature by Ashok, clock by Bala, Seasons by Bhavana, Pollution by S. Dhanya, She by Wajid, Unseen by Qhudsia, Mother's love by Jayalaxmi, World peace by S. Laxmi, Cat by Maria, Aspired Goals by Shuaib, The Strength of your heart by Priya, The epitome of
perfection by Kamna, Rose by Ramya Laxmi. Sunny days by Sahana, Trees by Sai Sanjay School by Sarvanan, Cruelty to Animal by Shruthi, Silkworm Speaks by Shyam, Nature by Sowmiya Lakshana, Holy War and Tears by P.S. Sowmya, Caterpillar blues by Srinidhi, Comic Tragedy by Srishti, Sea by D. Swathi and Indian by Vasanth - each unique in its own way. These poems touch your heart and speak volumes about the
talent of these budding poets - so sensitive to the happening around them.

Thanks for the latest month young poet sent to me. I am an international old poet a senior citizen, 71 years, with 186 books I have authored. I am financially not sound. I cannot send any money. But I can send you poems, if allowed. I know I am an "Unsung Hero" chatting on batting in poetry that in modern verse like alarming adversity written for atonement mythical majesty of no malice, no conscience but prescience.
My humble opinion is sir, you can encourage young poets without dissuading the old ones since here is "God's Plenty".

I have read all the poems with interest published in November 2006 Issue of Young Poet (Vol.7, No.1). All the poems are excellent and appear to me as if these are written by mature minds. The kaleidoscopic picture of human nature presented in these poems is superb. My congratulations to all young poets.

The latest issue of Young Poet is in my hands. Twenty-fifth Number is indeed a milestone in your achievement, speaking for your steadfastness in the face of the odds you have been encountering on the way. My warmest congratulations for what you have accomplished.
To stop and look around with wonder, to see things with new eyes, to ask of oneself questions, is the beginning of the quest to know oneself and the beauty and mystery that is God's creation. The poems in Young Poet are evidence of the stir in young minds. In the name of poetry, you have been helping the young to get started on this quest. This, coupled with the values you hold forth, by your own example and thinking, is a significant
step in moulding the young. Your closing words in the editorial, emphasizing the togetherness of mankind, are truly inspiring.
As I keep saying you are an inspiring example of a positive, constructive approach to life, making you a natural leader and role model for the growing generation.
Replica Editor Panda's intimate dialogue with the budding poets makes absorbing reading.
While every poem winks at you with its own distinct hue, poems like Trees (Sai Sanjay) which contrasts the selflessness of trees with the ingratitude of Man; School by Saravanan which makes it a place to love; Silkworm Speaks (Shyam Raghav) which reminds us of the other side of the shimmering silk; and Sea (D. Swathi) where the sea speaks out "When they are with me I felt happy / But when I am with them they are unhappy" make us halt in our track. And there are some outstanding lines too - as, for example, "You can climb any mountain, if you be all you can
be" (Priya Subramaniam - The Strength of your Heart); or, Khamna Kathuria's The Epitome of Perfection which speaks of 'one who knew nothing of what others did, but everything of what others didn't; or, Shristi Sehgal's Comic Tragedy which calls out to bring all your pain. (to) turn them to poems' and asks 'Isn't it fun / where everybody is a winner / And loser is none'. Young Poet has arrived!
Happy days ahead to you and all of the young poetic fraternity!
With deep regards

To breed culture without calamity is the child-poet whose feeble thoughts are too tender for sublimity. Yet poets of teenage students tend to evaporate their feelings, ascending their minds as clouds only to pour onto the paper their raining of rhymes. If poets are students of profound sensibility, their lack of originality will least compensate their erudition. However, poets are ripe as fruits, soft as dew, sublime as moon in all their endeavours to naturalize their feelings. To be captivated by rhymes and to escape from fretting, the teenage poets are marvels and have
merritime with words. The artist, the painter of word pictures, claims a grand eloquence and intense affinity with reality. However brittle their words, they portray a craftsmanship rarely to be applauded in other magazines, else they feed and feel profound without the atrocity of age, for humble teenage frets to be discovered, rejoicing mightily in your magazine.
Thanking you
