Conveying our hearty Condolences

MOHAMED SHUAIB IS DEAD! LONG LIVE SHUAIB!

From his father........................

I hope this letter finds you in good shape and health. I deeply regret to inform you that my son Mohamed Sadique Amin - Pen name Mohamed Shuaib, a member of your club expired on 4th November, 2007. He was a Renal patient undergoing dialysis. He was very fond of your journal and was a proud Member of YPCI. Besides you have always encouraged him by publishing his poems in the Journal. He stocked the copies of "Young Poet" carefully like invaluable assets and used to flaunt before friends and relatives. Some of his Poems - A Place of Pride, Aspired Goals, Nature Watch, A Barbie, Sonnet, The Poet insatiate, You are missing in my Life, Love for a Soul, and Sweet Notes etc. published in your various Journals are heart touching and thought provoking.

He was a very noble soul. Charity was his hobby although he was unemployed and had to depend on pocket money from parents and sisters. His untimely death at the tender age of 27 has left deep scars in our hearts and your club has lost a valuable member. As an example of his charitable disposition I am sending herewith a Xerox copy of his letter written to an ailing boy while sending a small donation for his medical treatment, out of his pocket money. I am also sending herewith a Poem entitled "All That I Ask" written by him at the age of 19, which you may publish in the next issue of your Journal. I have also enclosed his snap.

Please pray for peace to his soul and if you deem fit publish an obituary note about his sad demise in the next issue of "young poet".

From Shuaib to an unknown boy.........................

I read about your tragic incident in the newspaper & felt extremely said. You are just a small boy facing such a misfortune in your life. I can very well understand the pain you are going through and your mother, who also suffered head injuries. But dear boy, this is not the end of the road. Still life has so much to experience. I was extremely happy when I read that you did not weep. By this I can understand you are very strong and takes life as it comes. But never give up in life. What if you're physically wounded? If God takes away something be gives something back that will be worth taking. Live life to its fullest. Do something in life, make a willpower and you will reach on top one day.

I myself am a Kidney patient under going dialysis for the past five years. But I am living with a hope that one day God will surely canvalesce me. With this hope I am living and I am strong as you are.

Do not feel dismayed in life. Have trust on him, Almighty Allah, Eashwar or God, whatever you call him, will come to your guidance and support. Well, this is all I can say to render my condolence and mental support to you along with a little sum of Rupees Two hundred that I am enclosing with this letter. May God give you courage and may support arrive to you from all your well wishers. Amen. May God Bless You. Take Care and get well soon.

Md. Sadiq Amin
