Poems in November 2007 issue

The dreary night
It was a dark, dreary night
There wasn't a single light
All was calm, all was quiet
I was scaling the mountain's height
Brave, fearless, with all my might
In the distance I saw a figure, all in white
It moved towards me, along the night
I was sure it was a ghost,
I screamed in fight
I caught it, and gripped it tight
I was determined not to lose the fight
Suddenly, I lost balance, and fell upright
I awoke only to find my mother saying
"Are you alright? Good night"
