Poems in November 2007 issue

One warm and cozy soft sleepy night
A fox was creeping by soft moonlight
The fox caught a hen who let out a squeal
And carried it in the woods, O!

The fox carried the hen by her beak
And went up a grassy hill peak
And crossed a sparkling creek
With flowers dancing all around it, O!

The hunter peered from behind the brush
And the fox knew she had to rush
And disappeared behind the brush
Just keep walking to your den she told herself, O!

She reached her den at last
But the hunter passed her small den
Night seemed to cast magic over the small den
The stars began to fade, O!

Cozy and warm they curled up their snug den
The pigs in their pen
And the hen
Whose fate had been a terrible end, O!

Silently the golden sun rose
The foxes twitched their noses
The mother woke but her babies still dozed
The mother licked her pups, O!

The mother caught a bird who fell from the sky
A bunny ran by
Baby birds would soon fly, O!
