Poems in November 2007 issue

I went to a holy place
Where they say wishes come true
A temple with mammoth idols
Some say as old as the sky so blue

Long list of my prayers
I had made long before
Prayers for happiness of me
And all, I couldn't ask for more

On my way to the temple
Met a little child
A shine in his eyes
The touch so mild

I told him why I
Had come to the place
To talk to the God
Face to face
But what he said left
Me with surprise & Shock
For asked me to tell my wishes to him
Because his mom had told him he is as a Chhota God.

Srishti Sehgal
Abohar, (Punjab).
